(Rev 18:2 KJV) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
.
(Mat 12:29 KJV) Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
.
1 Corinthians 2:14 Paul tells us – But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.

Remember, Jesus gave us power over ALL of the effect, power of the enemy. Its time we all do stand up and use our power— 1 John 4:4 greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (John 14:12 KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
.
.
Eph. 6:10-12 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
.
(Mat 10:1 KJV) And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
.
(Mark 6:7 KJV) And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
.
.
(Mark 3:11 KJV) And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, You art the Son of God.
.
(Luke 4:36 KJV) And they were all amazed, and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.
.
.
(Acts 5:16 KJV) There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and thse who were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
.
(Acts 8:7 KJV) For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
.
‘ evil spirits OR
.
Evil angels, however, are those who have fallen from their first estate (see Jude 1:6) since the Creation. The Bible records several different times when angels fell to earth. Some have already fallen (Genesis 6:2; Amos 5:26; Revelation 12:4) and some will fall in the future (Revelation 6:13, 8:10-11, 9:1). It is Satan, the great dragon, who entices them (Revelation 12:4), perhaps with promises that they will be worshipped by men as gods or rule over an earthly kingdom. Fallen angels learn wickedness and become apprentices of their new master Satan.
.
Unlike humans, fallen angels cannot be redeemed. Once angels rebel against God, they are permanently banned from God’s glory and presence. Some fallen angels are currently imprisoned until God’s day of judgment (I Peter 3:19-20; II Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6), and some rule the realm of darkness with Satan. They, too, will face the wrath of God (Matthew 25:41).
.
What Was the Sin of These Angels?
.
The Bible confirms that there are angels who sinned: “Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly” (Job 4:17-18; also see Job 15:15, 25:5). In addition, the Bible tells us the origins of some fallen angels.
.
Every time the Old Testament mentions sons of God it is a reference to angels (compare Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7 and Psalm 89:6). In Genesis 6:2, sons of God (angels) took on human form — which angels can do (see Genesis 19:15-16; Hebrews 13:2). But these sons of God transgressed their created purpose by lusting after the daughters of men and marrying wives who bore them children. This evil brought mankind to a new realm of wickedness so frightening and terrible that God saw it necessary to destroy the earth with a flood, saving only Noah and his family.
.
Here is the Genesis account: “It came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown” (Genesis 6:1-2).
.
The fall of these angels is also told by Enoch, great-grandfather of Noah, who walked with God (Genesis 5:22). Copies of the Book of Enoch were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. Although this book is not a part of canonized Scripture, it does line up with the Genesis account and is, in fact, quoted in Scripture (see Jude 1:14).
.
Enoch told how these angels not only took human wives but also taught them the secrets of good and evil (remember that Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thus opening the door to all knowledge). In this way fallen mankind became corrupted very quickly, soon requiring a world-wide flood to purge the human race. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:4-13).
Enoch’s account also describes the consequences for the sin of these fallen angels. The angels felt remorse for their sin but were not allowed to return to their former estate in the heavens. They were bound (and are still bound, according to II Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6) to await judgment. The children of those angel-human relations died, but their spirits would go throughout the earth as
evil spirits to harass mankind. They would look for human bodies to inhabit; the male ones being malevolent spirits and the female ones being seductive spirits (or
sirens).
.
In the last days, the earth will again become corrupted to complete wickedness. Jesus told us, “as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37). In the end times the world will become just as wicked as it was before the Flood. Because of today’s heightened fascination with the occult and spirit world, it is entirely plausible that fallen angels and humans will mix once again, creating terrible chaos to bring about the final wrath of God.‘
.
Note we MUST come against the evil ones of the spiritual realm AS WELL. OH, YES!!! The spiritual realm DOES exist! There are those of you who would rather not believe that there is, but we must ask you right now. . . What is God? (Spirit) Where is heaven (in the Spiritual realm) What is Satan? (spirit) Where is he? (in the Spiritual realm) All of Satan’s evil ones (spirits, demons—whatever you prefer to call them) are in the Spiritual realm. They are very real even in our lives today. . . yes, in each and every one of our lives today.
.
Often that whatever happens in the natural realm happens in the Spiritual realm first. That is where the battles (the ones we don’t see) are fought out—in the spiritual realm. Satan has his workers (evil spirits) and God uses also His angels to fight out the battles in the heavenlies. The outcome of those battles, are what actually manifests itself in our lives, here, in the natural realm.
.
Our free will prayers and our free will binding and loosening are what moves God’s hands as well in our situations, and as we pray, He releases more of His angels to war for us. (Heb 1:14 KJV) Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
.
When confronted by a demon-possessed individual [the direct, inward control by a demon(s)], there are generally two possible reactions, namely the offensive approach and the defensive approach. The offensive approach includes the eventual. hopeful casting out the demon( s )
.
“Binding is like a temporary spiritual handcuffing. You can bind a demon spirit, much like tying something up with rope or chains. You cannot bind a person’s free will, but you can bind the demons affecting or influencing that person. Binding is NOT the same practice as casting out demons, casting out demons brings fourth lasting results, whereas binding is only to tie them down for a period of time. If you are trying to talk to or minister to somebody, and they seem impossible to get through to it can be helpful to bind up the spirits inside that person, which will handcuff the enemy so you can directly and effectively minister to that person without having them continually held back by the enemy’s interference. Another good time to bind is when the person isn’t ready for a deliverance and you are not willing to put up with their demonic personality. I have a friend who bound demon spirits which were in her teacher, who was a lesbian, and she stopped giving her any troubles since then! Was the teacher ready to be delivered? Highly unlikely. But that doesn’t mean you must live with her demonic personality, simply bind it whenever you are around that person, and it handcuffs the enemy from doing his work around you. Another good time to bind, is when you are half way into a deliverance (let’s say you got 20 out of 40 demons out) and you need your rest, like say it’s 2 am and you have to work the next day. You could simply bind the demons overnight, and finish the deliverance the next day.
.
Binding is a powerful witnessing tool: What keeps a person from accepting Jesus? The god of this world, which is Satan (working through his army of demons) has blinded their minds from the light of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4). Jesus taught us to bind the strong man, then we can plunder his house (Mark 3:27). If you have been trying to witness to somebody, and seem to be getting nowhere, try binding the spirits of darkness that are preventing that person from seeing the light in the gospel. You cannot bind a person’s will or force them to accept the gospel, but you can do something about the demons which are holding the person back. Once you take the demons out of the picture, you will be able to talk directly to that person without demons whispering in their ears and trying to combat what you are telling them.”
.
“Loosing, like binding, can be done here on earth, and takes effect in the spiritual realm. Loosing however, refers to the loosing of a captive or person in bondage. You bind demons, and you loose the captives. When Jesus set free the woman with the issue of blood, He said unto her, “Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” (Luke 13:12)”
.
In contrast, the defensive approach teaches the Christian to resist Satan and or the demon by submitting to God. WE HAVE TO DO BOTH BE DEFENSIVE AND OFFENSIVE
.
(Mat 16:15 KJV) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock ( JESUS) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee ( ALL) the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
.
Now the keys speak of our won, OWN entrance into the kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
.
The 2 places that Jesus mentioned keys are Luke 11:52 and Revelation 1:18.
.
In Luke 11:52, he says, “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.” Hosea 4:6, says “My people perish for lack of knowledge.”
.
TOO MANY PERSONS FALL PREY TO THE ENEMY, THE EVIL SPRITS, THE DEVIL BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN IGNORANCE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM.
.
Also in Revelation 1:18, Jesus says, “I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and ( also ) have the keys of Death and Hades.”
.
“We CANNOT and MUST NOT try to bind or loose THE DEVIL, EVIL SPIRITS in our name (or on our own accord). We MUST do so only “in the name of Jesus” under the leading of the Holy Spirit. a Christians is always to be lead personally by the Holy Spirit still too. .
.
Remember the Scripture in Acts 19:20, that says: And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? (You see, God had done some mighty works and performed miracles by the hands of Paul, and of course, Jesus. So, when the 7 sons of Sceva decided they would like to go and be able to do that, they found out really quick that the evil spirits did not have to obey them—We can only bind them in the name of Jesus. Suffice it to say, right here, that one must be born again and blood-washed in order to bind anything spiritually in the name of Jesus.) “
.
Still “binding and loosing”. these two are actually different words, with totally different meanings, but they can used together, they can be done in conjunction with one another. A good example of this is: I bind confusion off this troubled person, and I also do loose, set free his freedom and clear-thinking . Or I bind the effects of the evil spirit on this persons and let loose the angels of God, the Holy Spirit to minister to him now instead.Simple too
.
To Bind, tie up, or secure as with a rope or cord; to hold or restrain with; to unite; to be tight or restricting.
To let loose; to release; not fastened, restrained, or contained; not bound; to make less strict; to release pressure.
.
Spirit filled, Baptized of the Holy Spirit persons who do have and use the gifts of the Holy Spirit in operation now many times will feel led to bind a particular spirit, and/or to loose a particular spirit. These acts still are discerned by the Holy Spirit of God, are under the Holy Spirit leading, submission too, where it becomes necessary sometimes to pray openly for a release of the bondage that a certain spirit or spirits has that person bound in.
.
Jesus cast evil spirits, demons out by the Holy Spirit, healed the person by the Holy Spirit, and in order for us to be able to do that, we firstly MUST be born from above Christians and do it by the Holy Spirit,. That is why Jesus also said that whatsoever we bind on earth, will be bound in heaven, etc.
.
Jesus told us in John 14:12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. All , this was not just for His disciples . . .it was for all of us! In Luke 10:19, He said, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
.
Matthew, Chapter 18 :18 & 19—Jesus said: 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again, I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
.
(Gal 1:16 KJV) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
.
Ephod 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
.
“Spiritual warfare” now still means different things to different people. The term itself is not found in the scriptures, but the concept is often defined, rightfully taught as being led by the Holy spirit’s empowerment over the spiritual forces of darkness set against us all. .The Bible makes that clear. All teachings on spiritual warfare must still be rooted and grounded in the teaching of scripture, the Holy Spirit. Spiritual Warfare is a very important aspect of the Christian life because we do need to engage in it every day. The true Biblical “spiritual warfare”is simply indirect confrontation with Satan our principle enemy. We believers in Jesus Christ have been given weapons and strategies by Our heavenly Father to use now. The key to successful spiritual warfare is also now finding the full Biblical truths, balance. . Spiritual warfare is done according to Our source of authority which is the Word of God. Scripture provides everything that we need for salvation and sanctification
.
(2 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:3), therefore the Word of God should be our final authority. 2 Tim. 2:15 “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the word of Truth.” Thus we must be on our guard, contending for the faith which was once delivered to the saints because certain men have crept in. (Jude 3 and 4). We are warned in 1 Tim. 4:1 and 6 that in the latter times some will turn away from the faith giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and we are admonished to to be worthy stewards of Jesus Christ, ever using, nourishing our own selves on the truths of the faith so that we can always TRULY live victorious in Jesus Christ.
.
Now Binding and loosing alone are not enough.. the whole situation has to be next put personally under the control, lordship, power of God the teaching of scripture, the Holy Spirit. . being now obedient to God in all things.. (John 14:21 KJV) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
.
or

Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and fends none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
.
This true Christianity and true spiritual warfare includes now also every person also next living a life of consecration, obedience and fellowship with God in such a way that we enable God to effectively use us to deal with the evil spirits, persons working against us, and against other people. It is the form of fully abiding in Christ as well that fully overcomes all of Satan’s legal and illegal grounds against us and others. We are unable to deliver any Satan possessed persons for example from all the evil spirits if they still do refuse to repent off, renounce their sins still.
.
Again, how are we rightfully Biblically instructed to basically overcome Satan and his followers?
.
1. Peter instructs us to “withstand him; be firm in the faith and by the use of our faith as well against any and all of his onset – rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined, knowing that while the same sufferings, oppositions, hardships, tribulations, difficulties are also now appointed to our brotherhood (the whole body of Christ) throughout the world.” we have also all the same empowerment to overcome it. (1 Cor 10:13 KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.9 (Or overcome it) (Rev 3:21 KJV) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Rev 12:11 KJV) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
.
2. Paul teaches us daily to put on the whole armor of God. Our provided weapons include truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the word of God (Eph 6:14 KJV) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
.
3. (1 Tim 1:18 KJV) This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
.
The scripture also teaches us all that we must wage a good warfare holding fast to an active faith delivered to the saints by Jesus Christ, the Apostles, and the Holy Spirit, and each one of us now also having a clear conscience.
.
And to our faith we must add knowledge as well 2 Cor 8:7 KJV Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us.. (2 Pet 1:5 KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
.
And we do also know that we must also continue take control of our own thought life by refuting arguments, theories and reasoning’s and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God. We are to ongoing lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (2 Cor 10:5 KJV) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exaltS itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; :6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
.
(1 Sam 15:22 KJV) And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
.
Again Scripture teaches us how to have victory over the devil and it is firstly by putting on the whole armor of God (Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Faith, Salvation, and the Word of God). All these are aspects of consecration, obedience to and fellowship with God. The Lord uses also our consecration and obedience to overturn Satan’s hold over matters in our lives and the lives of those we’ve been assigned to minister to –spiritually, socially, materially and physically. “We will be ready to punish every act of disobedience once (when) your obedience is complete,” 2 Corinthians 10:6 I know this is a hard pill to swallow but we must even with good intentions be careful that we are not walking in disobedience and error, but be always subject to the will of God as Jesus was .
.
Our Christ given authority is also to deal with demons in our ministry with other persons still depends on how God personally leads us by His Holy Spirit.
.
(Mat 7:21 KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
.
(Mat 12:50 KJV) For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
.
4. In James 4:7. We are directly taught to be subject to God and to Resist the devil – stand firm against him and he will flee from us.
.
We are taught in the scripture to to STAND FIRM against Satan – even the same way Jesus stood firm against him while being tempted in the wilderness. He did subject himself to the devil, do what the devil asked but stood against him even with the Word of God and we must do the same.
.
Some of us are taught that if we “bind Satan” in the name of Jesus or threaten him, if we pull down spirits in the air preventing their activity, they will leave us alone forever, no longer tempt us, or try to lure us away from our faith. This is simply not true. It is an ongoing process, war. We do have to daily stand firm against Satan with the tools God gave us (obedience, prayer, His Word, His Spirit and etc.) and all of the ways that God has established for us. Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God should be our final authority for all of our acts still too
.
Revelation 20:1-3 (AMP) “Then I saw an angel descending from heaven; he was holding the key of the Abyss (the bottomless pit) and a great chain was in his hand and he gripped and overpowered the dragon, that old serpent (of primeval times], who is the devil and Satan, and [securely] bound him for a thousand years. Then he hurled him into the Abyss (the bottomless pit) and closed it and sealed it above him, so that he should no longer lead astray and deceive and seduce the nations until the thousand years were at an end. After that he must be liberated for a short time.”
.
Revelation 20: 10 (AMP) “Then the devil who had led them astray [deceiving and seducing them] was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
.
One day Satan will be bound for 1,000 years shortly after Christ’s Second Coming. Following the Millennium, Satan will be deposited into the lake of fire for all eternity.
.
Therefore, the idea that believers can remove Satan and his demon armies permanently from all spheres of influence, from tempting us, afflicting us or harassing us and to try to distract us from serving and living unto God simply unbiblical and the realted teaching that many of us had which is to “bind him permanently in the name of Jesus”is not found in the Bible and is unbiblical.
.
Further more in Matthew 16:19 The meaning of this verse in context with the surrounding verses mean that Jesus gave Peter as well and indirectly all who will be His disciples, authority to bind believers, given to the whole Church with the authority to exclude or loose from the Church those who did not believe.
.
This scripture teaches us that there is heavenly authority behind the disciples’ (and our) earthly actions. Peter was to bind things upon the earth, but only what had already been bound in heaven. The Apostles and Peter were to set the standard on earth for entrance into the kingdom of heaven based upon the standard which God has already set in heaven, spelled out by the Holy Spirit, Jesus. Peter one of the mediators of the Word of God between God and man (by preaching it), as stated in Matt.16:16, namely, that Jesus was “the Christ, the Son of the living God” who has all power now in heaven and on earth.
.
In Matthew 18:18 The meaning of this verse in context with the surrounding verses (before and after it) teaches us all that about even church discipline and order. Not just the discipline of the evil spirits. (1 Cor 14:33 KJV) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (James 3:16 KJV) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
.
The Lord thus also was speaking about how to deal with unrepentant brothers and sisters lead by evil spirits even in the Church . Jesus is saying that believers can have confidence that when they justly excommunicate someone on earth, that they are fulfilling the will of God which has already been determined in heaven, the final authority to “bind and to loose” had to do with, the permitting or forbidding anything that was to be determined by a doctrinal decision. (1 Cor 5:5 KJV) To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
..
An acceptable condition for a believer to rebuke anyone is when he lovingly corrects a brother fallen into sin (Lk. 17:3; 1 Tim. 5:20). Throughout the New Testament, any rebuke is understood as also being under the sole prerogative of the Lord, the Holy Spirit. (Acts 5:4 KJV) Whiles it remained, was it not 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
.
This is why Michael said when challenged by Satan, “The Lord rebuke you” (Jude 9).
.
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers,” Luke 22:31-32.
.
Jesus Christ, who was, is God made flesh, had prayed to the Father, for Peter’s deliverance. His spiritual warfare prayer or deliverance prayer in this case was addressed to God as well.. but he rebuked the Devil in Apostle Peter.
.
(Mat 16:23 KJV) But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
.
(Mat 4:10 KJV) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
.
Now realize this Satan will continually not stand for the proclamation, application of these truths but will also try to detour, distract you, divert you, try to discredit the truth, even by using false teachers who will try to discourage you from following after this revealed word of God, revealed will of the Jesus and his Holy Spirit. Who will you follow still God or Satan?
